Cómo instalar Popcorn Time en todas las distribuciones GNU/Linux
Popcorn Time reproduce películas y series de televisión desde archivos torrent
1. Creamos el directorio, descargamos y descomprimimos
Creamos el directorio
sudo mkdir /opt/popcorn-time
Descargamos
PARA 32 BITS: sudo wget https://get.popcorntime.sh/build/Popcorn-Time-0.3.10-Linux-32.tar.xz PARA 64 BITS: sudo wget https://get.popcorntime.sh/build/Popcorn-Time-0.3.10-Linux-64.tar.xz
Descomprimimos
PARA 32 BITS: sudo tar -Jxvf Popcorn-Time-0.3.10-Linux-32.tar.xz -C /opt/popcorn-time/ PARA 64 BITS: sudo tar -Jxvf Popcorn-Time-0.3.10-Linux-64.tar.xz -C /opt/popcorn-time/
2. Creamos un enlace simbólico del ejecutable
sudo ln -sf /opt/popcorn-time/Popcorn-Time /usr/bin/popcorn-time
3. Creamos un acceso directo
sudo nano /usr/share/applications/popcorntime.desktop
Copiamos y pegamos el siguiente contenido
[Desktop Entry] Version = 1.0 Type = Application Terminal = false Name = Popcorn Time Exec = /usr/bin/popcorn-time Icon = /opt/popcorn-time/popcorntime.png Categories = Application;
Guardamos con Ctrl+o y salimos Ctrl+x
Falta el icono para nuestro acceso directo, descargamos con el siguiente comando
sudo wget -q -O /opt/popcorn-time/popcorntime.png https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/6c/Popcorn_Time_logo.png
4. Lanzamos la aplicación
popcorn-time
